Debra Patkin is an attorney advisor with the Disability Rights Office of the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau of the Federal Communications Commission. She engages in rule making, rule interpretation, and other policy activities around accessibility for people with disabilities and telecommunications, including emergency communications and video programming. She is also the Designed Federal Officer of the FCC’s Disability Advisory Committee. Debra received her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, M.A. from Gallaudet University, and B.S. from Rochester Institute of Technology.
